Rare Blue Tourmaline Diamond Platinum Ring 2.04 ctw

Description Rarely are tourmalines found with intense blue color other than the notable pool blues of the Paraibas. This tourmaline would still classify as an indicolite with a faint green hue but it has a very strong predominant rich blue color. The stone weighs 1.43 carats, measures 6.8 X 5.6 X 5.4 mm, has near flawless clarity, excellent cutting and outstanding luster and brilliance. Prong set in a heavy platinum basket the tourmaline is offered maximum light exposure and a low position in the ring for added security. Across the ring’s shoulders are channel set diamond baguettes that are 0.61 carats total weight and VS1 clarity and GH color.
