Description A rare fancy elongated scissor emerald cut sapphire is prong set and is 8.7 X 5.0 mm and 1.80 ct. The sapphire is a dark blue, with excellent clarity, cutting and brilliance. One of the things I love about the fancy scissor cutting is the long broad beam like flashes of blue brilliance as noted in the photos. The sapphire rests between both baguette and round brilliant cut diamonds that are 0.40 ctw and VS2 G quality. The ring is made with 14K yellow and white gold with the majority of the ring being yellow gold and the diamond settings being white gold. The ring weighs 4.0 grams and is a size 7.
